Art Of Dying releases this tuesday their debut album Vices And Virtues produced by Howard Benson. If you don’t know them, they are the first band signed by Dan Donegan and David Draiman from Disturbed on their label Reprise Records/ Intoxication Records. Honestly, it is succeeded and musically, it is an excellent powerful modern hard rock record. It rocks. No doubt. The rhythm section is perfect. A dynamic beat that catches you instantly. It is both louder and cohesive at all levels. At the first listen, sure that Jonny Hetherington, the lead singer has vocals incredibly expressive. The beautiful musical harmony is also immediately perceptible.

Die Trying, the lead single, has already announced the musical atmosphere .There is no denying that these boys have an undeniable talent. All tracks are great but Raining is a song that easily detaches from the rest of the album. It features Adam Gontier (3DG). The song is perfect in all its splendor. Adam adds something extra spicy. It is obsessing and is definitely an upcoming hit that deserves to shine at the top of the charts. I suggest it as second single. Two beautiful voices that meld wonderfully. This is a track more sensitive that features an infectious music that haunts you when it is over.

Among highlights, the guitar playing will not  leave you indifferent as well the brilliant bass lines by Cale Gontier on Whole World’s Crazy, one of the most rockin’ song of the album. You could appreciate his playing in the intro of Straight Across My Mind. I also recommend you Completely and Sorry that will blew you away. The guitar parts are awesome and creative as in the rest of the record.

Vice and Virtues demonstrates that these five boys know how create a modern innovate heavy piece of music in each time that keeps listeners’s attention along their debut album, ready for radio. Now, it is high time  to spread the word. I recommend.
