Just in time for New Years Eve, Los Angeles based songwriting duo Bonhom made up of James Coleman and Diwon have collaborated with Indaba Music to launch their NYE remix contest leading up to their debut full length LP dubbed Sex War which will be released January 20th, 2015.
The album is made up of dreamy indie pop sound with a strong rock and hip hop influence. Seven of the tracks have already been played and premiered on shows such as Vanderpump Rules and Witches of Eastend.
Sex War includes a diverse mix of innovative tracks that blend pop, rock, and electronic elements. “NYE” builds from a bass-driven atmospheric refrain into a massive rock hook, while infectious party anthems like “Animal” and “Top of the World” get your heart pumping.
Bjork and Depeche Mode are the inspiration for “Your Eyes.” The singles, “Live for Now” and “Get Up, Stand Up (Sign of Life),” embody Bonhom’s main message to live in the moment, let go of the past, and embrace the future.
With a fantastic fusion of their musical talents, Coleman and Diwon produce the songs of which dreams are made.
