Duran Duran released the lead single All You Need Is Now from their 13th upcoming studio album of the same title produced by Grammy Award-winning Mark Ronson. The record is set to release on December 21st exclusively via iTunes Stores. An expanded physical LP with additional original, new tracks will be released in February 2011 in various format deluxe packages. On December 10th, Simon Le Bon and Nick Rhodes will be at Mark Ronson’s radio show Authentic Sh*t on East Village Radio on Friday from 8pm – 10 pm EST – >http://www.eastvillageradio.com. The album also features R&B/neo-soul superstar Kelis on “The Man who Stole a Leopard”.

The track All You Need Is Now is available and free for download only on iTunes Stores. After getting lost on the way musically, the band is back with what they do best, their own romantic new wave 80s sound with a little electro pop / rock and a modern beat. Honestly, it’s awesome. The musical harmony shines again. It has a pop dance groove that makes you want to click the replay button. The song combines some exciting bass playing with a catchy synthesizer bass line from the fantastic Nick Rhodes. A track to warm you, that makes you move. Simon’s haunting singing that we love so much are back. The song is convincing. No problem to hit the top of the charts. Produce something good and exist without the generic sound of Timbaland and Co, is a doable thing. Continue guys.. Fans, old and new, spread the word.. Duran Duran is always here.
The music video will released on iTunes on December 21st. It was shot in and around London and directed by Nick Egan (INYX, Oasis, Duran Duran’s white lines and Ordinary World, Alanis Morissette and more). Additional footage by Gavin Elder will also be available.
