No Doubt Settle Down Single Review

Last modified: February 26, 2014

After nearly a decade , No Doubt return with a strong debut single Settle down off their highly anticipated album Push and Shove via Interscope Records, September 25th. Grab it digitally (Amazon, iTunes) or in your favorite store.

The band makes with this new single, a winning return and should have no difficulty to settle at the top of the charts.  It is mainly a great pleasure to find them again with a sound, both fresh and original among the mainstream music. It is a fun and enjoyable listener experience, as we can expect from them. The first single is an addictive reggae-rock track, that delivers a high energy level of engaging beats while conveying the  positive  attitude specific to this type of music. Settle Down is the perfect summer jam to dance and to enjoy your holiday break.

The video has been filmed  in Los Angeles with their longtime friend and collaborator Sophie Muller behind their previous videos (Don’t Speak, Underneath it all, Sunday Morning, Simple Kind of Life, and Says No Doubt). It is a colorful clip featuring a big party which fits well with the meaning of lyrics.
