Showtime Pilot Ray Donovan adds Eddie Marsan And Dash Mihok

Showtime’s drama pilot Ray Donovan has cast Eddie Marsan and Dash Mihok to portray Ray’s brothers, Terry and Bunchy.

Terry (Eddie Marsan) is a former boxer who, despite his Parkinson’s diagnosis , is always combative. Marsan featured in “Sherlock Holmes“, “War Horse“, “Mission Impossible III“, “Tyrannosaur,” “The Disappearance of Alice Creed” and “Happy-Go-Lucky.” He will be in the upcoming anticipated films “Jack the Giant Killer” and “Snow White and the Huntsman.”

Bunchy (Dash Mihok) is Ray ‘s younger brother, a troubled alcoholic after being sexually abused. Mihok played in “Romeo + Juliet” , “I Am Legend“, “The Day After Tomorrow” and “The Thin Red Line“. he guest-starred on Grey’s Anatomy and The Good Wife.

They will play alongside Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Liev  Schreiber who plays the tittle character as well as Paula Malcomson (The Hunger Games, Deadwood, Sons of Anarchy) in the role of Ray’s wife, Abby.

Oscar Winner, Jon Voight join the cast as Ray’s Father “Mickey Donovan”, a newly freed ex-convict who heads to Los Angeles with suspicious intentions to reconnect with his estranged family. 

Oscar Nominee Elliott Gould will appear as a recurring guest star named “Ezra Goodman“, senior partner at a law firm who is Ray’s mentor and confidante, yet is showing signs of dementia.

Created and executive produced by Ann Biderman (Southland), the series is set in modern Los Angeles. Production will start in early 2012.

Ray Donovan is Hollywood’s best professional “fixer.” He’s the one called in to solve the complicated, confidential and controversial problems of the city’s elite.  He can make anyone’s problem disappear, except the ones created by his own family.
