Last night’s 21st Annual L.A. Music Awards at the Avalon in Hollywood observed a clean sweep by 14 year old pop wonder, Sir Castanon who captured awards in the following three categories: Pop Artist of the Year, Pop Single of the Year, and Producer’s Choice for Breakout Artist.
Sir Castanon released his debut album Puppeteer , October 2010 showcasing his keen dance/pop sensibilities on such standouts as the title track. Puppeteer is currently available for download on iTunes.

The 2011 Youth Rocks Awards is a night geared to honor and celebrate today’s top young artists in music, dance, TV and film. Along with Sir Castanon, other nominees include stars like Ashley Benson (Pretty Little Liars), Kat Graham (The Vampire Diaries), Kevin McHale (Glee), Boo Boo Stewart (Twilight: Eclipse), Jennifer Lawrence (X-Men: First Class), Madison Dela Garza (Desperate Housewives), Big Time Rush, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Chris Brown.
Before music, Sir Castanon established himself as an award-winning actor with his birth name Joseph Castanon. He is best known for starring as Adam Sandler‘s son in the feature film Click.
In the past six years, he has performed in over 30 national commercials, TV shows, films and movies. Several of the commercials and TV shows include McDonald’s, Toyota, Jericho, I Hate My 30’s, Without a Trace, E.R., and Happiness Runs to name a few. Sir Castanon‘s performances in Ghost Whisperer as well as Comanche Moon with Val Kilmer earned him two coveted Young Artist Awards.
