Stone Sour Audio Secrecy Review Track by Track

The album kicks off with an instrumental  piano track Audio secrecy. It is really very good. I really appreciate. It is a an excellent opener with a beautiful atmospheric.

Mission statement is heavier, full of energy. Fantastic solos guitars. It is fast. Awesome galloping roaring drumming and nice catchy metal gallop guitar parts and riffs. The singing style is powerful.

Digital (did you tell) begins with catchy riffs and drum. It is powerful. The vocals are just stunning accompanied by perfect guitar harmonies and a high-speed galloping drumming. Incredible solos guitars. Love this track. It is brilliant. High energy with a hook chorus.

Say you’ll haunt me is very inspired and a hit. Sure. Catchy melodic rhythmic section. I love this song. It is really radio friendly.  Great thick Melodic guitar riffs. It has catching galloping drumming lines that I really dig. In the different bridges, the drumming joined by the bass lines are excellent. I like the part with only Corey’s part at around 3.23.

Dying starts off with wonderful acoustic guitars. Corey’s vocals slow down and unfold in crescendo. It is another radio friendly alternative rock song. I like Corey’s style vocals. Anyway who dislikes them. The chorus is very good and stuck in your head in a good way. The music is melodic with plenty of harmonies guitars and drum.

Let’s be honest has an intro guitar riffs. It is a hard rock/metal song. Corey delivers an amazing vocal performance on this track. I love his vocal range (roar and melodic). He is a very good singer. His vocals are powerful. I love explosive metal solo guitars. The drums are fast.

Unfinished starts off with mm .. damn guitar riffs and features powerful rhythms parts. It is a metal song. The melodic verses are very catchy. I fell in love with the song. The sound is crazy and extremely terrific. Galloping riffs and drum. It is intense. I like Corey’s sight at the end.

Hesitate :  ‘You’, first word and I love this song. The track kicks off with vocals/rhythms guitars. It is a fantastic powerful rock ballad that gives me chills. Hesitate is another potential hit. Great song with lovely solos guitars and powerful drums. I suggest Hesitate as the next track.  I love the end with only Corey’s vocals. No doubt about you will like this track.

Nylon 6/6 starts off with galloping guitars/drum combination and soon joined by Corey’s roar vocals. It is a heavier track. The bass/guitar sections punctuated with powerful catchy riffs play perfectly with Roy’s galloping drumming. Corey whispers words very well.

Miracles is another great powerful rock ballad. It is very refreshing. Perfect harmony between different guitars. The rhythmic parts are beautiful. Corey sounds phenomenal and he is ;)

Pieces kicks off with an acoustic guitar and come in powerful drums. Cool solo guitars. I like this melodic track that ends with the acoustic guitar.

The Bitter end is a metal song with a brutal galloping guitar riffs intro that reappear intermittently throughout the song. It is very fast. Nice powerful galloping drums. It is one of my favorite tracks. Corey’s vocals fit very well with this sound… I really dig it. The guitars are heavy. The feel of the song is nothing short of incredible !!!

Imperfect is a beautiful acoustic song highlighted by Corey’s vocals. It is an emotional slow ballad. Totally in love with this track…

Threadbare is great way to close out the cd, with the bass/acoustic guitars as an intro.  Is a slow song. it’s deep. I love the part more heavier. Corey slows his vocals down and continues crescendo. The music stops (church bells in the back) and begins again heavier with a brutal drums/riffs combination.

After… 4 bonus tracks on itunes Deluxe edition of Stone Sour’s Audio Secrecy

Hate Not Gone is a melodic metal song punctuated by perfect riffs. Awesome dual guitar harmonies with some unique drumming.

Anna begins like a ballad with vocals/guitars and goes in crescendo. Changing tempo. absolutely in love with this song. It is an enjoyable song.

Home Again starts off with riffs, dual guitar harmonies joined by drum and vocals. Corey has an amazing timber and his voice is incredible , just beautiful. Catchy chorus. guitars solos are simply stunning. I could only say : Wow !!

Saturday Morning begins with vocals highlighted perfectly with in the background, rock riffs/drums . Dual guitar harmonies is a thrill to hear.

In conclusion, Audio Secrecy is impressive and totally addictive.  It is excellent and has galloping powerful metal rhythms.  The musicianship is remarkable. The music is captivating. The lyrics are dark, well written and very poetic, just beautiful.

Corey shows his high vocal range (melodic, emotional, metal) and his unique style, accompanied with a talented incredible band. Together they create a great music. Audio Secrecy will stay in rotation on my iPod for a long time along Avenged Sevenfold’ s nightmare, 10 years’s Feeding the Wolves and Apocalyptica’s 7th Symphony. Alternating between brutality, aggressive sound (The Bitter End, Let’s be honest) and beauty with Hesitate or Imperfect, Audio secrecy is a masterpiece that you enjoy with the smile. If you ask me,  I don’t regret to have bought the special limited editions. It is very pleasant to listen.

I highly recommend to anyone who likes hard rock/alternative metal music and all lovers of great music. You won a new fan. Stone Sour Audio secrecy is  F**king good and definitely worth buying.
