The New Jacobin Club Announce Misstress Nagini and Lady To Line Up

Saskatoon’s freak show metal collective The New Jacobin Club is pleased to officially announce the addition of Mistress Nagini and Lady to their stage show.

Mistress Nagini is a veteran performer, tribal dancer, sword handler and snake charmer, Lady is her cold-blooded co-star. Her commanding stage presence and exotic flavour is the perfect compliment to the artistic barbarism of the New Jacobin Club and the wicked antics of the Angry Teeth Freakshow.

“Mistress Nagini is a pro, she makes all of us look undisciplined and wild, which is why it will look so powerful on stage. She performed at our April concert date with Voltaire, but it was a last minute sort of addition. What she’s doing on May 14th and in more shows to come will be a feature part of our set.” commented NJC guitarist/vocalist The Horde.

The New Jacobin Club will be celebrating 15 years on stage in their hometown of Saskatoon on May 14th at Fez with openers Black Earth. The band will be premiering re-written and re-orchestrated material from the mid 1990’s that will find its way on a limited edition 15th anniversary NJC compilation to be released later this year.

Since their conception in 1996, NJC has released an EP and four albums their most recent being “THIS TREASON”, a concept CD/DVD based on the tragic medieval life and death of England’s notorious warlord Sir Hugh Despenser.

New Jacobin ClubNJC has shared the stage with a diverse roster of touring acts such as NASHVILLE PUSSY, GROOVIE GHOULIES, KMFDM, VOLTAIRE and appeared live on stage with Discovery Channel’s freak show reality program GUINEA PIG.
