Theory Of A Deadman release today their brand new single Drown. The track is the first single from the band’s upcoming fifth studio album SaVages which hits stores everywhere July 8 via Roadrunner Records. Get “Drown” on iTunes here.
Drown is dark and heavier than previously. The song takes you on a journey back to their heavy rock side along infectious choruses with a new twist, both modern and refreshing. They revitalize their sound that makes them different from other bands. Nice guitar solo and flawless bass line. The vocal style is a little different and very cool.
Connolly explains the band’s inspiration behind “Drown,” : “‘Drown’ is about being alone, the feeling of being washed away and left to your own devices. We’ve all felt that way at some point in our lives; unable to stay afloat, we sink to the bottom which always seems easier in the end than fighting your way back to the surface.”
