Writer, Producer Scott Stevens Lands Another Number 1 Smash at Rock Radio
Writer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Scott Stevens has landed another number 1 smash at active rock radio with the new Halestorm single “Amen”. “Amen” is the follow up to Halestorm‘s #1 Song “Apocalyptic” that Stevens also co-wrote.
Stevens has already had quite an impressive 2015. In addition to working with Halestorm on their new album, he cowrote, produced, and mixed 3 songs for the upcoming Shinedown album on Atlantic Records to be released later this year.
Recently he has been writing with some of the top writers in Nashville including Natalie Hemby, Bob Depiro and Zach Malloy. He will continue to spend more time back and forth between LA and Nashville for the remainder of 2015.
Stevens is currently writing with new Lava Records recording artists Maty Noyes and in August will be writing with Andy Biersack (lead singer of Black Veil Brides) for his upcoming solo record to be released In 2016.
Stevens recently signed an exclusive publishing deal with the newly launched Lava Music Publishing, a venture with Kobalt Publishing. Stevens’ recent work includes hits from Halestorm, Nothing More, Skillet, Daughtry, The Sick Puppies, Theory Of A Deadman, Pop Evil, and many more.
From Los Angeles, CA, Stevens rose to success with the modern rock band The Exies(Over 480,000 records sold). Stevens has been a prominent songwriter and producer since leaving the band, scoring five number one singles in the last year and a half.
