Zbrush 4R2b available now

Let’ s Start 2012 with Good News. Pixologic, Zbrush 4R2b, is scheduled to hit our computers on January 23. Be ready. It is free of charge to all Zbrush registered users (Other software publishers should take example from them, just saying ;)).

It includes new badass features to extend your creativity.

The first one is called FiberMesh that will enable you to create a bunch of fibers (for example, Hair but also fur, trees, plants and many more). A dream for Artists 2D/3D Illustrators such as myself.  You get a fully sculptable PolyMesh 3D object. Use Best-Preview-Render (BPR) to see the result. It may also be exported like any other PolyMesh3D.

The second feature is NoiseMaker. Stay tuned for more information.

Zbrush, a digital Sculpting and painting program (3D/2.5D), if you haven’t it, you miss a really fantastic software. It will blow your mind. If you must choose an only and unique, (high-quality) 3D software at a reasonable price, I highly recommend it.
